This is me…

Let me introduce myself. I am Victoria, and this is my sweet little boy, Henri Valentin, who was the biggest inspiration, on my journey to becoming a photographer. Every day he encourages me to pursue my goal: capturing precious, unforgettable moments of our little ones, so we can treasure them for a lifetime.

My journey began, when my beautiful Great Dane Aura, our beloved family member, passed away. Although my husband and I knew that her illness was progressing faster than we hoped, we decided to have a few professional portraits taken with her, so we could hold her in our hearts forever.
Little did I know back then how much these very special photographs would mean to me one day. It gives me peace and joy today, seeing our big girl with her big Aura (a name that was a perfect match for her beautiful soul and calming presence) captured in one happy moment.

Years later, she still holds a special place in our hearts, and we are reminded of this, every time we glance at the pictures, framed on our wall. The strong bond we shared with her, still connects us, even though, she is not with us anymore.

After focusing on dog photography and capturing the touching relationship between dogs and their owners, I fell more and more in love with photography and effect it can have on people’s lives. This propelled my desire to study photography and gain expertise in this field, which has been my passion ever since.

When my son was born in 2018 my exploration of photography took a change of direction: It was clear to me that there was nothing more important than to capture every milestone of his life. Observing him growing and changing so fast and I wanted to be able to conserve all his beautiful smiles, his tummy times, his sweet yawns while stretching, his giggles, toe grabbing, his first time sitting upright and standing on his own.

I realized that this task wouldn’t only be valuable for me, but also a gift for my son. Something for him to come back to one day, a means to reminisce his childhood, and remember what it was like to be a sheltered, playful toddler.

With all my heart I will preserve your little ones firsts and your unique family story, because as a mother I understand, how important it is, to cherish every moment with your little miracle, and never forget, which moments shaped the wonderful human being, that he/she is today.
