LUDMILA RADCHENKO

Ludmilla Radchenko, a young and talented artist from Russia, is quite famous in Italy and Anglo-Saxon countries.

A graduate in fashion design at Omsk, she first breaks into modeling by being elected Miss Charm at the 1997 Miss Russia national contest, She then goes on to pursue a career at the Russian television before moving to Italy where she gets known through numerous TV shows, while still modeling.

In 2008 does she come back to her true passion: painting. Her first solo exhibitions convince her to give up show business to fully focus on art.

After a long stay in New York devoted to study, she produces a series of paintings exhibited in various art galleries.

In 2010 she builds a giant cow for the Cow Parade 2010, a design exhibition, and participates to an artistic installation at the Triennale di Milano.

Several months after her exhibition at La Scala, she is chosen for the international painting contest “Gemlucart de Moine” and she starts her collaboration with the “Oeuvre Gallery”, one of the eleven existing in the whole world.

In December 2010, the Skira-Feltrinelli editions publish her first artist monography Power Pop. In February 2011, the province of Milan supports an exhibition by Ludmilla presented in Paris, at the Maison des Cultures du Monde. In May 2011, the Crown Fine Art gallery presents Ludmilla’s works at the Eating Art festival in Soho, the famous New-York neighbourhood.
